Do you want to own your own business? Well then! this is the right spot. I will take you through a typical day as someone who owns their own company! It may sound like a lot but I love every second of it!

My day usually starts at about 8AM. The first thing I do is hop in the shower, and then my cold plunge located in my living room. I go in for 2 minutes at 39 degrees. After that, I will have a quick protein shake and post my first batch of marketing videos for the day. I will map out all of my meetings and head to the gym to get a 90-minute lift in. Once I complete that, I shower and get dressed for the day. I typically will then spend about 2-3 hours on a call with my business partners discerning what we can do right then and there and also allocating out work for the next days to our employees. I then have a 2-and-a-half-hour window where I allow anyone who works for me to sign up for a 1 on 1 meeting where I can help them improve their performance and give out resources to do so. A large percentage of all of our pay at D1 is incentive based, and therefore it is highly beneficial to get on these meetings. This brings us to usually 3:30pm, where I always deal with the most pressing issues of the day. In the poker industry, the hours between 3-10pm are super active, and therefore I am able to get ahold of almost everyone that I need to. Whether this is meeting with lawyers or strategizing with partner businesses, this is usually the most productive 2 hour stretch of the day. After that, I get dinner, and while I am eating call my business partners again. After dinner I start my stream and usually will stream to about 1am! I then go to sleep and rinse and repeat! Owning a business is great, because on my days off I can do whatever, and I can work whenever, but it isn't all perfect. I spend almost every waking moment during the week getting things done, but I LOVE IT. I wouldn't change a darn thing.
